Continue readingThis is the day. This is the day that President Trump said he thought the coronavirus would just go away. It would be like a miracle. There are around 60 confirmed cases in the US. California iss monitoring around 8,400 people suspected of being infected. The world markets are tanking. Comparisons are being made to the hit the markets took in 2008. The White House says that all public health officials had to clear any TV appearances in advance. Reports are that President Trump was angry that health officials were contradicting his rosy assessment of the situation. This is the day when there seemed to be a shift in the world toward taking coronavirus and COVID-19 seriously. And toward hoping for that miracle.
